Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract in India. Employer accounts must be created by a person authorised to act for the organisation they register.

• Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your password confidential.
• Employers and job seekers may be asked to submit documents for verification. A verified badge means we checked the documents supplied to us; it is not a guarantee of a company's conduct, financial standing or a candidate's performance.
• One person or organisation may not operate multiple accounts to bypass plan limits.

• Registration on KartavyaSetu requires a one-time membership payment. Profiles and job posts go live only after payment is confirmed.
• Subscription plans grant limits such as the number of job posts, candidate searches and AI actions. Exceeding a limit requires an upgrade.
• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices with notice; changes never apply to a plan you have already paid for during its term.
• Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, discriminatory or unlawful job listings or profile content.
• Charge job seekers any fee for a job, request deposits, or use the platform for multi-level marketing, unpaid "training" schemes or fraudulent recruitment.
• Impersonate another person or organisation, or misuse someone else's documents.
• Scrape, bulk-download, resell or republish candidate data, job listings or company data from the platform.
• Use candidate contact details for anything other than the specific hiring process they applied to.
• Upload malware, attempt to bypass access controls, or disrupt the service.
• Harass, abuse or send spam to other users through messaging or interviews.

You keep ownership of everything you upload — resumes, logos, job descriptions and messages. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display and process that content so the platform can function, including generating AI matches and rankings. The KartavyaSetu name, logo, design and software remain our property.

AI-generated job descriptions, resume suggestions and candidate scores are automated aids, not professional advice or hiring decisions. Always review AI output before relying on it. Employers remain solely responsible for their hiring decisions and for complying with employment law.

KartavyaSetu is a platform that connects employers and job seekers. We do not employ candidates, do not act as a recruitment agent for either side, and do not guarantee that any job will be filled, that any application will receive a response, or that any offer will be made. We are not a party to any employment contract formed between users.

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but may suspend it for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. Features may change or be withdrawn as the product evolves.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, submits false verification documents, or is used for fraud or abuse. You may close your account at any time from your profile settings or by writing to us; closing an account does not automatically entitle you to a refund.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KartavyaSetu is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of employment, loss of profit, or the conduct of any user. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

We may update these terms as the service changes. Material updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of [TO BE FILLED — city], India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
